French actor Fanny Ardant testified in favour of 76-year-old screen icon Gerard Depardieu at his trial on charges of sexual assault in Paris, saying she had never seen him behave in a « shocking » manner with women. The trial relates to charges of sexual assault during the filming in 2021 of « Les Volets Verts » (« The Green Shutters ») by director Jean Becker.
