Right-wing ministers in Israel’s cabinet have threatened to resign over a proposed ceasefire deal in Gaza, which they see as a failure from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to deliver « absolute victory » over Hamas. « They were promised that Hamas would be eradicated and, by definition, if Israel is in negotiations with Hamas it has not been eradicated, » says FRANCE 24’s Jerusalem correspondent Noga Tarnopolsky.
