An image, providing a first look at the design of Arsenal’s predicted away jersey for the 2022/23 campaign, has come to the fore online.

And, if the leak ultimately proves accurate, then kit manufacturer Adidas look primed to shake things up in a major way.

The strip currently worn by Mikel Arteta’s troops for fixtures away from north London is of course a pale yellow colour, the design of which was largely welcomed by the Gunners faithful upon its release.

Adidas’ latest effort, on the other hand, looks set to be black, or alternatively a very dark navy.

As per the always reliable Footy Headlines, Arsenal’s away jersey for next season will be set on a dark base, offset by grey horizontal stripes across the front, and a gold logo and club crest.

The sneak peek at Arsenal’s away shirt for the campaign ahead of course comes fresh on the back of a full scale leak of the club’s upcoming home jersey just days ago.

In a series of images to have made their way across social media, it was revealed that Mikel Arteta’s men will don a new look at the Emirates, featuring, amongst other changes, white stripes along the shoulders, and, most notably of all, the reintroduction of a collar.
