The Watford contingent in attendance at the club’s meeting with Manchester United on Saturday have made use of the opportunity to have some fun at the expense of their decorated hosts.

This comes with the prior meeting between the two sides, back in November, having of course seen Watford emerge on the right side of a dominant 4-1 scoreline at Vicarage Road.

In turn, early in the exchanges in Manchester this afternoon, the away crowd at Old Trafford unveiled a new chant, as follows:

‘How s**t must you be, we beat you 4-1.’

CR7 & Bruno come close

Turning attentions towards the action itself this afternoon, the scoreline late in the first-half, somehow, remains locked at 0-0.

This comes despite hosts United having carved out and subsequently fluffed a hatful of presentable opportunities to break the deadlock.

Both Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo have come close, with the latter having also seen what looked set to be the hosts’ go-ahead goal ruled out for offside.

Ralf Rangnick’s troops, though, nevertheless look odds on to eventually find a crucial breakthrough, aware that a 3rd successive Premier League triumph would see the club tighten their grip on 4th spot in the English top-flight, amid mounting pressure from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
