Tottenham are currently locked in action with Southampton as they look to play catch up to the sides above them in their chase for the top 4.

And while it looked as though they were on top early, they missed several big chances before finally taking the lead through an own goal that their performance probably deserved.

But it didn’t last long.

The Saints capitalised on some poor defending from Tottenham, with on-loan Chelsea man Armando Broja firing in an equaliser, and in truth they could have been a goal or two up come the break.

And, come half time, it was defensive duo Sergio Reguilon and Ben Davies who were firmly in Tottenham fans’ sights. Reguilon missed a glorious chance in the opening 45 minutes, and looked less than impressive in the defensive side of his game.

Davies, meanwhile, was at fault for the equaliser, and failed to inspire any confidence alongside Cristian Romero.

It was something that Tottenham fans were not keen to overlook, as can be seen below.
