It’s official: Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez will serve as co-chairs of the 2024 Met Gala, as will Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth and, as usual, Anna Wintour.

The stars were unveiled as this year’s Met leaders in a Thursday (Feb. 15) post on Instagram, which also revealed the event’s theme, The Garden of Time. The New York City fashion showcase is held every year on the first Monday in May, which this year falls on the 6th.

The announcement featured a video of Wintour’s faux group chat with Bunny, Lopez, Zendaya and Hemsworth. “Are you all free Monday, May 6?” the longtime Vogue editor-in-chief asks the quartet, each of whom excitedly texts back their RSVP.

Neither the “Me Porto Bonito” rapper nor the Marry Me star are strangers to the annual event. Bunny attended both the 2022 and 2023 galas, while Lopez is a seasoned veteran with more than a dozen Met appearances under her belt.

In October, Bunny released his fifth studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, which debuted atop the Billboard 200. Lopez is on the cusp of dropping her highly anticipated record, This Is Me … Now, as well as a Prime Video musical film. Both projects arrive Friday (Feb. 16).

Both stars have also swung by 30 Rock recently, with the Puerto Rico native doing double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live in October. A few months later, Lopez performed “Can’t Get Enough” and the title track of her upcoming album on the Feb. 3 Ayo Edibri-led episode.
