Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has taken to social media on Sunday, to send a welcome message to Lisandro Martinez.
The latest imminent addition to the first-team ranks at Old Trafford was, of course, made official this afternoon.
On the back of weeks of speculation, the Red Devils announced that they have finally struck a deal with Dutch champions Ajax, over a big-money deal for the aforementioned Martinez.
The Argentine, also a target of Premier League rivals Arsenal ahead of next season, is primed to put pen to paper on a long-term contract in Manchester over the days ahead, in the process reuniting with former boss Erik ten Hag.

Messages of welcome, in turn, have since begun to flood in for Martinez, expected to slot straight into the starting XI at United from next season.
And, as alluded to above, joining the Red Devils faithful in reaching out to the club’s latest signing, on Sunday, has been a soon-to-be teammate of the versatile defender.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Marcus Rashford, a short time ago, unveiled a simple message, welcoming Martinez to the red half of Manchester:

On the back of a slow start to the transfer window at Old Trafford, the last couple of weeks, of course, have seen United’s transfer team step things up in a major way.
First through the door at the Theatre of Dreams was Tyrell Malacia, before Christian Eriksen swiftly followed suit.
And, with a deal for Martinez now in the bag, too, attentions are expected to quickly shift towards reinforcements in the middle of the park, amid long-standing efforts to convince Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong to swap Catalunya for Manchester.
