Bayern Munich have scheduled a new meeting with Serge Gnabry about renewing his contract, according to BILD.

The German’s contract runs until 2023 and Bayern are desperate not to lose such a valuable player for free.

Gnabry has many suitors from around Europe including his former club Arsenal, but also Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Bayern confident about Gnabry’s contract extension

According to the German publication, Bayern are confident of reaching an agreement over a new deal.

The winger is due back for pre-season training on Friday and this could accelerate talks.

The German champions are hoping to schedule a meeting as soon as possible with Gnabry’s agents.

Bayern are optimistic about renewing his deal but will want a resolution as soon as possible to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.

The Gunners are looking for a new winger having been unsuccessful in their pursuit of Raphinha.

Man City are also looking for a wide forward with Raheem Sterling reportedly heading to Chelsea.

Real Madrid were another club that had been looking at the 26-year-old.
