Arsenal, Tottenham and any other potential suitors have learnt the asking price for Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.

Arsenal have been linked with Inter Milan and Argentine striker, Lautaro Martinez, over the last several weeks.

Reports earlier this year claimed that the Gunners have added Martinez to their shortlist of summer striker options – as Mikel Arteta plots his new-look strike force with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah out of contract at the Emirates in the summer.

And whilst it now looks as though Nketiah, who scored a brace vs Leeds United this past weekend, may sign a new deal at the Emirates, Arsenal will still need another forward to compete with the Englishman.

As a result, it was not too surprising to see it reported recently that Arsenal have remained interested in the South American hitman.

And now, as mentioned above, Arsenal have learnt how much they would have to pay to land him.

As per reports stemming from Italy, Lautaro Martinez has no intention of leaving Inter Milan in the summer, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to stay, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Martinez, 24, has scored 19 goals in 33 Serie A appearances this season and is one of Inter’s key players. But the Italian giants are in financial trouble and would reportedly consider offers of around €60m for the Argentina international, which they may be forced to accept.

Given Martinez’s excellent goalscoring record over the last several years, it may be a fee Arsenal should consider paying.

However, one potential drawback with Martinez is he does not really operate in a one-striker formation, meaning he would be something of a risk for the Gunners, who tend to operate in a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3
