Arsenal have seen themselves linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt recently.
Brandt would join current side Borussia Dortmund in 2019 from Bayer Leverkusen and has since had a mixed stint in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Now, as per the Mirror citing German outlet Bild, Arsenal have been handed a fresh chance to sign former Jurgen Klopp favourite, Brandt, with the midfielder expected to leave Dortmund.
It is added that Marco Rose is preparing to overhaul his squad, having seen his team crash out early of both the Champions League and DFB-Pokal, and a busy summer window is expected at Signal Iduna Park, with Brandt no longer said to be part of BVB’s plans moving forward:

Despite Dortmund wanting to part with Brandt, he has not had the worst 2021/22 campaign. In 28 league outings to date, the attacking midfielder has scored seven and assisted eight.
Brandt to Arsenal?
Should Brandt indeed make the switch to Arsenal, he would likely prove a very useful asset for Arsenal as they will need fresh legs across their midfield whilst competing in Europe.
And given Brandt can play on the left, right and in his natural role as a central attacking midfield, he would be able to provide cover for a number of players.
Brandt can also drop slightly deeper to play as a central midfielder, meaning he could, in theory, also partner someone like Thomas Partey or Granit Xhaka.
