A remarkable piece of footage, centering on a member of the away crowd at Nottingham Forest’s meeting with Leicester City this evening, has come to the fore online.

The clip in questions highlights post-goal celebrations on the part of Forest’s stars, after finding the net during the clash at the City Ground.

Remarkably, as a group of the Reds’ players wheeled away towards the sideline, one of Leicester’s travelling supporters made his way over the hoardings and onto the pitch, to make his frustrations known.

Not only that, but, in frankly disgraceful scenes, the Foxes fan went on to throw a series of punches at Forest’s players, before eventually being dragged away by the security presence in attendance:

Spence amongst the goals

The bizarre footage of ongoings at the City Ground comes with Leicester well on their way to crashing out of the FA Cup in the 4th-round.

A dismal display, particularly at the back, currently sees Brendan Rodgers’ men trailing by a hefty four goals to one in Nottingham.

All of Philip Zinckernagel, Brennan Johnson, Joe Worrall and Djed Spence have managed to find the net for Forest, with Kelechi Iheanacho’s finish late in the first-half, in turn, representing little more than a consolation as things stand.

Should Forest, as expected, go on to hold onto their advantage through 90 minutes, it will continue a stellar FA Cup run on the part of Steve Cooper’s troops, who last month sent tournament specialists and Premier League giants Arsenal packing in the 3rd-round.
