\n\tTanner Adell<\/a>, known for her breakthrough hit \u201cBuckle Bunny\u201d and her contributions to Beyonce<\/a>\u2019s Cowboy Carter<\/em> album, has signed with Love Renaissance (LVRN).<\/p>\n \n\tThe Atlanta-based Love Renaissance was founded in 2016 by Tunde Balogun<\/strong>, Justice Baiden<\/strong>, Junia Abaidoo<\/strong>, Carlon Ramong<\/strong> and Sean \u201cFamoso\u201d McNichol<\/strong>, and features a roster including 6LACK, Summer Walker, DVSN, SPINALL, and TxC. The multi-faceted label and management company offers creative direction, production, marketing and strategic partnerships. LVRN also operates the Atlanta-based LVRN Studios to further cultivate musical talent in the Atlanta area.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThey made it so obvious that they knew exactly who I was and exactly how they were going to help me achieve what I want to achieve,\u201d Adell tells Billboard<\/em> of her decision to sign with LVRN Records.<\/p>\n \n\tAdell\u2019s upbringing in both California and Wyoming has helped the singer-songwriter in crafting a unique fusion of country, pop and hip-hop on songs such as \u201cWhiskey Blues\u201d and \u201cFU-150,\u201d as well as a signature brand that blends big-city glitz and rural roots. Adell moved to Nashville three years ago with her sights set on a career in country music.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI was writing in my bedroom, using beats I\u2019d find on the internet. I moved here and just put my head down, working, and kept my vision as straight as I possibly could in trying to create a sound that I felt was unique to me, but relatable,\u201d Adell told Billboard<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tAdell, who was previously signed with Columbia Records, issued the song \u201cHonky Tonk Heartbreak\u201d in 2021, followed by her EP Last Call<\/em> the following year. Most recently, she released her Buckle Bunny <\/em>debut mixtape last year, followed by a deluxe version of the project, including \u201cLove You a Little Bit,\u201d \u201cThrow It Back,\u201d and \u201cI Hate Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThen Queen Bey came calling.<\/p>\n \n\tOn Beyonce\u2019s Cowboy Carter<\/em>, Adell joined with Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts on the song \u201cBlackbiird,\u201d and provided background vocals on \u201cAmeriican Requiem.\u201d Like her Cowboy Carter <\/em>cohorts, Adell saw a surge in streaming. According to Luminate, the week after Beyonce released \u201cTexas Hold \u2018Em,\u201d Adell saw a 188% increase in streaming activity.<\/p>\n \n\tThis year, she\u2019s built on that surge by performing at top festivals including CMA Fest, Stagecoach and C2C. Adell also wrote and recorded the song \u201cToo Easy\u201d for the soundtrack of the movie Twisters<\/em>, with her work residing alongside music from artists Luke Combs, Jelly Roll and Miranda Lambert.<\/p>\n \n\tBaiden, head of A&R for LVRN, said in a statement, \u201cIt\u2019s rare these days to be wowed and instantly connect to an artist. You never see that\u2014it felt like these are real people who really care and understand me.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tOver the past year, Adell has been writing for a new project, one that will draw fans deeper into her story.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI haven\u2019t talked too much about my family, and my birth family and being adopted and how I\u2019ve dealt with that,\u201d Adell said. \u201cI\u2019m biracial. I was adopted by a white family, but they also adopted my siblings. I haven\u2019t talked about finding my birth family, or any of that. I feel like my fans are ready, and I\u2019m ready to give that part of myself to them. I\u2019m ready to share that side of me.
