Is that the best you can do is these two guys?\u2019 and I go, \u2018I have no idea.’\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tHe\u2019s been adding to the political commentary, too, by keeping the straitjacket that he wears during \u201cBallad of Dwight Fry\u201d on when he mounts the tall, bunting-adorned podium to deliver \u201cElected.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tElectoral satire aside, Cooper\u2019s own campaign trail will be a busy one for the rest of the year. He and his band are in Europe through mid-July, returning to North America starting July 30 in Niagara Falls, Canada, and including another run of the Freaks On Parade Tour with Rob Zombie, Ministry and Filter during the late summer. Another European run, meanwhile, takes place in October.<\/p>\n
\n\tCooper has also finished work on \u201ca surprise album\u201d to follow last year\u2019s Road<\/em>. He isn\u2019t offering any details, including a title or release date, other than \u201cit turned out to be very unique.\u201d He\u2019s also enjoying new life on syndicated radio with Alice\u2019s Attic, the successor to Nights With Alice Cooper. He\u2019s expanded his presentation with the five-hour program, introducing a variety of characters and more aural theatricality.<\/p>\n\n\t\u201cI actually am having more fun with it now, because I can go to different places with it,\u201d Cooper says. \u201cIt\u2019s basically the same kind of show except now I put it into a form where I can have characters, \u2019cause once you\u2019re in Alice\u2019s Attic there\u2019s broken dolls, a butler, Madeline the Mannequin \u2014 things you would normally find in an attic are now characters in the show. I\u2019ve gotten to make it a little creepier, a little funnier.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
