After losing to current president Joe Biden in 2020, he remains the Republican party\u2019s frontmost candidate in the 2024 race.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTrump now awaits sentencing, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/deadline-white-house\/deadline-legal-blog\/trump-guilty-verdict-what-now-analysis-rcna154364\" target=\"_blank\">most likely facing<\/a> a fine or a prison sentence of up to four years.
