\n\tSinger-songwriter Vincent Mason, known for his viral hit \u201cHell Is a Dance Floor,\u201d has signed a label deal with Interscope Records\/UMG Nashville\/Music Soup, the companies tell Billboard<\/em>. Mason has been releasing music via Music Soup since his first release, so the deal marks a continuation of his work with that company.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Georgia native\u2019s debut EP, Can\u2019t Just Be Me,<\/em> releases May 24. He co-wrote and co-produced every track on the six-song project, which includes previously-released songs \u201cHell is a Dance Floor,\u201d \u201cLivin\u2019 Proof\u201d and \u201cMay Be.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis EP is a great representation of everything that\u2019s happened from when I first started writing songs up until now. I\u2019m thankful to have the opportunity to co-produce for the first time alongside Brett Truitt,\u201d Mason said in a statement. \u201cThe music sounds exactly how I envisioned and I\u2019m excited to mark thi smoment in time and have it to look back on one day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMason added of his signing, \u201cI\u2019m so grateful to have Interscope, Universal Nashville, and Music Soup help bring our vision to life and keep building on what we\u2019ve started. I couldn\u2019t feel better about the team around me and I\u2019m excited to get to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to his label signing, Mason recently inked a publishing deal with Concord Music Publishing\/Hang Your Hat Music as well as with WME. He is managed by Champ Management.<\/p>\n

\n\tMason\u2019s heartbreak-drenched song \u201cHell is a Dance Floor\u201d earned over 17 million combined global streams, according to a press release. He toured with Ashley Cooke<\/a> last year and also opened shows for Parker McCollum<\/a> and Niko Moon<\/a>. He will soon open shows for Miranda Lambert<\/a> and Gavin Adcock and is slated to perform at CMA Fest in Nashville in June.<\/p>\n
