\n\tSabrina Carpenter<\/a>\u2019s \u201cEspresso\u201d (via Island) is just too hot, as it starts its first stint at No. 1 in the U.K. <\/p>\n \n\tThe U.S. singer and actor\u2019s hit lifts 5-1 in its third week on the Official U.K. Singles Chart<\/a>, for her first leader. <\/p>\n \n\tThe best-seller at the midweek point, \u201cEspresso\u201d clocked up a market-leading 8.8 million streams, and completed nail-biting finish to bump Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s former leader \u201cFortnight\u201d featuring Post Malone by fewer than 500 combined units, the Official Charts Company reports. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cEspresso\u201d is Carpenter\u2019s first top 10 and fourth U.K. top 40 single after \u201cNonsense\u201d (No. 32 peak), \u201cSkin\u201d (No. 28) and \u201cfeather\u201d (No. 19). <\/p>\n \n\tHozier<\/a>\u2019s former No. 1 \u201cToo Sweet\u201d (Island) dips 2-3, to complete the podium on the latest chart, published Friday, May 3. <\/p>\n \n\tShaboozey<\/a> bags his first U.K. 10 single with \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy)\u201d (American Dogwood\/Empire), the hip-hop-country number which rises 16-6. <\/p>\n \n\tTaylor Swift bags another U.K. top 10 single \u2014 her 29th in her career \u2014 with \u201cI Can Do It With A Broken Heart,\u201d the fourth single from The Tortured Poets Department<\/em> to crack the top 10 in two weeks. \u201cBroken Heart\u201d is new at No. 8, following \u201cFortnight,\u201d \u201cThe Tortured Poets Department\u201d (No. 3 peak) and \u201cDown Bad\u201d (No. 4). \u201cI Can Do It With A Broken Heart\u201d is the highest debut on the latest Official U.K. Singles Chart. <\/p>\n \n\tThe only other debutant in the top 40 is Virginia, U.S. singer and rapper<\/a> Tommy Richman, with \u201cMillion Dollar Baby\u201d (ISO Supremacy\/Pulse).
