\n\tJ. Cole<\/a> is still on the road as part of Drake\u2019s<\/a> It\u2019s All A Blur \u2013 Big as the What? Tour<\/a>, and he\u2019s teasing more music leading into his anticipated The Fall-Off<\/em> album.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Dreamville boss unleashed the second edition of his M<\/a><\/em>ight Delete Later, Vol. 2<\/em> <\/a>vlog recapping his travels on Monday (March 18), which includes an unreleased track featuring Cole rapping as if his rent was overdue.<\/p>\n

\n\tJust shy of the five-minute mark, the scene switches to Cole riding his bike and getting some rhymes off over the thumping production. \u201cGoing to sleep at night praying to God release the stress\/ Now I\u2019m on G4 jets across the seas to decompress\/ My recent texts, how much you think? Hmm, decent guess\/ They go, \u2018Cole, who you gon\u2019 kill on the feature next?’\u201d he raps.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother part of the Smack DVD<\/em>-inspired content finds J. Cole reflecting on his early days of signing to Roc Nation circa \u201909, when he wanted to just create a classic body of work no matter the commercial success.<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, Jay-Z had other ideas. \u201cWhen I first signed to Jay, all I wanted to do was drop a classic. That sh\u2013 could\u2019ve sold 3,000,\u201d Cole reminisced. \u201cBut it\u2019s gotta be an Illmatic<\/em>. Once I signed to Jay and this n\u2014a was like, \u2018Nah, you not putting the album out until you got some f\u2014ing hits.\u2019 <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI had to trial-and-error for a year and a half, two years. \u2018Workout,\u2019 I squeezed that sh\u2013 out last-minute. That was an unnatural space for me. Even if you listen to it, I can\u2019t even hear that sh\u2013 back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCole went on to release a pair of mixtapes (The Warm Up<\/em> and Friday Night Lights<\/em>) before delivering his Cole World: The Sideline Story <\/em>debut album in 2011. The LP debuted atop the Billboard 200<\/a> with 218,000 album units sold in the first week.<\/p>\n

\n\tMight Delete Later, Vol. 2<\/em> features cameos from plenty of Jermaine\u2019s rap<\/a> peers, including Central Cee, Drake, Benny the Butcher, Lil Yachty and meeting Sexyy Red for the first time.<\/p>\n

\n\tThere\u2019s additional footage of Cole in the studio where he reveals there\u2019s been \u201csix iterations of this album\u201d in regards to The Fall-Off<\/em>, which fans can expect at some point later this year.<\/p>\n
