\n\tParamore<\/a> has once again pulled out of upcoming performances due to \u201cunforeseen circumstances,\u201d but worry not \u2014 it also looks like Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro may have new music in the works, implying that the band is still together and thriving.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tParamore\u2019s Atlantic Records Contract Is Up, Making the Band a Free\u00a0Agent\t\t<\/p>\n<\/h3><\/div>\n

\n\tIn a Thursday (Jan. 18) post on Instagram Stories, a straightforward message said that due to \u201cunforeseen circumstances, Paramore can no longer attend and perform at Vive Latino in Mexico City, Festival Est\u00e9reo Picnic in Bogot\u00e1, and Lollapalooza Brazil in S\u00e3o Paulo.\u201d The statement also clarified that Nashville indie band Kings of Leon is set to replace the popp-rock trio at all three events.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement comes two weeks after Paramore dropped out of this year\u2019s\u00a0iHeartRadio<\/a>\u00a0ALTer EGO\u00a0show, also \u201cdue to unforeseen circumstances.\u201d The band had also wiped their social media accounts clean around that time, leading some fans <\/a>to worry about the its future.<\/p>\n

\n\tTheir most recent statement, however, said that Paramore \u201capologizes for any inconvenience\u201d before teasing, \u201cThey will see you in the next era.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOther than that, Paramore hasn\u2019t addressed its withdrawal from shows or commented about what\u2019s in store for the future. The group did, however, recently tease a Talking Heads tribute<\/a> cover and music video with A24, with Williams unboxing an oversized David Byrne-esque suit jacket in a snippet from the project that ends with the frontwoman singing part of \u201cBurning Down the House.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cSimmer\u201d singer, York and Farro are also still set to support several of Taylor Swift\u2019s Eras Tour shows on the trek\u2019s European leg this summer. And as far as any new music goes, Paramore is freshly finished with its contract with Atlantic Records, meaning the band is now a free agent<\/a> for the first time in 20 years.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019ve been really lucky. We always will have gripes \u2014 it\u2019s an industry \u2014 but we know that we\u2019ve been really lucky,\u201d Williams said prior to the release of Paramore\u2019s most recent album, This is Why<\/em>, last year. \u201cIt\u2019s more just the fact that it\u2019s time to f\u2014ing finish something. And it\u2019s time to know that we\u2019re not doing the same s\u2013t that we\u2019ve been on since we were teenagers. It\u2019s just going to feel so nice to start a new book. You know, like no more chapters of this one. Whole new book. And I\u2019m excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
