\n\tParamore<\/a> announced Thursday (Jan. 4) that they are dropping out of this year\u2019s\u00a0iHeartRadio ALTer EGO\u00a0show \u201cdue to unforeseen circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe band apologizes for any inconvenience,\u201d the group wrote in their statement on Instagram Stories, which you can read here.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tOther than the statement on Stories, Paramore\u2019s Instagram account has been wiped clean, leaving fans to speculate about what the \u201cunforeseen circumstances\u201d could be and how they might affect the future of the band.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the meantime, Fall Out Boy<\/a> will step in as a new addition to the lineup for the concert, taking place Jan. 13 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe are thrilled to join the 2024 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO lineup and celebrate our most\u00a0recent album\u00a0So Much (For) Stardust<\/em>,\u201d Fall Out Boy wrote in a press statement.\u00a0<\/em>\u201cWe are looking forward to closing out an incredible night of music in advance of our upcoming \u2018So Much For (2our)Dust\u2019 US concert run.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFOB will join previously announced performers The 1975, The Black Keys, Thirty Seconds to Mars,\u00a0 Bush, Sum 41, Yellowcard, lovelytheband\u00a0and\u00a0The Last Dinner Party.\u00a0iHeartRadio ALTer EGO will be hosted by Woody of iHeartRadio ALT 98.7\u2019s nationally syndicated The Woody Show.<\/p>\n

\n\tParamore released their sixth studio album, This Is Why<\/em>, in February of last year, scoring their highest-charting album in nearly a decade with a No. 2 debut on the Billboard 200. The album was the band\u2019s first since\u00a0After Laughter<\/em>\u00a0was released in May 2017; it debuted and peaked at No. 6. The group\u2019s last album to go higher was its self-titled 2013 release, which debuted at No. 1 on the April 27, 2013-dated list.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
