\n\tOther presenters include Michelle Yeoh<\/a>, Angela Bassett<\/a>, Gabriel Macht, Julia Garner, Justin Hartley and Patrick J. Adams. Additional presenters will be announced in the coming days.<\/p>\n

\n\tComedian Jo Koy<\/a> is set to host<\/a> the show.<\/p>\n

\n\tYeoh and Bassett both won Golden Globes last year. Yeoh won best performance in a motion picture \u2013 musical or comedy for Everything Everywhere All at Once<\/em>. Bassett won best supporting performance in a motion picture for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tYeoh went on to make Oscar history, becoming the first Asian winner for best actress and the second\u00a0woman of color, after\u00a0Halle Berry, to win in that category. Bassett did not go on to win the Oscar for best supporting actress, but she is set to receive a Governors Award from the Motion Picture Academy on Jan. 9.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the film side,\u00a0Barbie\u00a0<\/em>is this year\u2019s leading Golden Globes nominee<\/a> with nine nods, followed by\u00a0Oppenheimer<\/em>\u00a0(eight),\u00a0Killers of the Flower Moon\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Poor Things<\/em>\u00a0(seven each),\u00a0Past Lives<\/em>\u00a0(five), and\u00a0Anatomy of a Fall<\/em>,\u00a0Maestro<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0May December<\/em>\u00a0(four each).<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the TV side,\u00a0Succession<\/em>\u00a0is the leading nominee with nine nods, followed by\u00a0The Bear<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Only Murders in the Building<\/em>\u00a0(five each) and\u00a0The Crown<\/em>\u00a0(four).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Golden Globes will unveil two new categories this year. Barbie<\/em>, last year\u2019s biggest box-office hit and one of its most widely admired, is expected to win the award for cinematic and box office achievement. The other nominees are Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,<\/em> John Wick: Chapter 4<\/em>, Mission: Impossible \u2013 Dead Reckoning Part One<\/em>, Oppenheimer<\/em>, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse<\/em>, The Super Mario Bros. Movie<\/em> and Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe other new award is best performance in stand-up comedy. The nominees are Ricky Gervais\u00a0for\u00a0Ricky Gervais: Armageddon<\/em>, Trevor Noah\u00a0for\u00a0Trevor Noah: Where Was I<\/em>, Chris Rock\u00a0for\u00a0Chris Rock: Selective Outrage<\/em>, Amy Schumer\u00a0for\u00a0Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact<\/em>, Sarah Silverman\u00a0for\u00a0Sarah Silverman: Someone You Love<\/em> and Wanda Sykes\u00a0for\u00a0Wanda Sykes: I\u2019m an Entertainer<\/em>. All but one of these specials streamed on Netflix; Silverman\u2019s special streamed on HBO.<\/p>\n

\n\tEmmy-winning producing duo Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment will serve as executive-producing showrunners of the 2024 Golden Globes, with Weiss also set to direct. Produced and owned by Dick Clark Productions, the Golden Globe Awards is one of the few awards ceremonies to include both motion picture and television achievements.<\/p>\n
