\n\tTaylor Lautner went \u201cBack to December\u201d during a recent Call Her Daddy <\/em>episode <\/a>alongside his wife Taylor Dome.<\/p>\n

\n\tLautner talked about \u201crekindling\u201d a friendship with Taylor Swift, whom he dated back in 2009. \u201cI think when you respect somebody for who they are, like in their soul, it allows you to move on, forgive and continue that love in a different way,\u201d he shared of their breakup, noting at one point in the episode that Swift was \u201cabsolutely\u201d the one who ended things. \u201cI\u2019m thinking back on exactly what happened. But no, yeah, she did.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tHe recalled that after the split, the two \u201cstayed friendly, we would see each other now and then. But we then did fall out of touch and didn\u2019t talk for a while,\u201d adding that he \u201calways had the deepest respect for who she is as a person before anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHonestly I would say one of the greater things to happen in my life over the last year is the rekindling of our friendship,\u201d Lautner said.<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift and Lautner dated in 2009 after meeting on the set of\u00a0Valentine\u2019s Day<\/em>, and it is rumored that her\u00a0Speak Now<\/em>\u00a0hit, \u201cBack to December,\u201d is about their breakup. Back in July, Swift debuted the first music video from her\u00a0Speak Now (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/em>\u00a0album at the first\u00a0Eras Tour<\/em>\u00a0stop in Kansas City, Missouri.\u00a0The Twilight<\/em>\u00a0actor, Joey King and Presley Cash, who all starred in the video, also joined the singer onstage to celebrate the video\u2019s premiere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
