\n\tKenya Grace<\/a> is no stranger <\/em>to the U.K. chart summit<\/a>. <\/p>\n \n\tThe South Africa-born, U.K.-based artist enters a second week at No. 1 with \u201cStrangers\u201d (via FFRR), her breakthrough, drum \u2018n\u2019 bass-backed tune and first through a major label. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cStrangers\u201d is, once again, the most-streamed track in the U.K. with 4.8 million plays, the Official Charts Company reports, as it holds off the challenge of Cass\u00f6<\/a>\u2019s \u201cPrada\u201d (Ministry of Sound) featuring RAYE<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0D-Block Europe<\/a>. <\/p>\n \n\tThe leader at the midweek point<\/a>, \u201cPrada\u201d finishes the week at No. 2, less than 800 chart units adrift.<\/p>\n \n\tAs previously reported, Grace is just the second U.K. female artist ever to write, produce and record a No. 1 single entirely by herself, following Kate Bush whose \u201cRunning Up That Hill\u201d completed a mission impossible last year, hitting the top some 37 years after its initial release.<\/p>\n \n\tTate McRae<\/a>\u2019s \u201cGreedy\u201d (Ministry of Sound) rounds off an unchanged top 3.<\/p>\n \n\tMeanwhile, another South African artist is making her move on the Official U.K. Singles Chart \u2014 Tyla<\/a>. Born and raised in Johannesburg, Tyla (full name: Tyla Laura Seethal) enjoys a new peak with her breakthrough \u201cWater\u201d (RCA), rising 7-4. <\/p>\n \n\tClose behind is Chase & Status, Bou, Flowdan, IRAH, Trigga and Takura\u2019s \u201cBaddadan\u201d (EMI), up 11-5 for its peak position, while Sonny Fodera, MK and Clementine Douglas\u2019 \u201cAsking\u201d (Solotoko) is up 10-7, a new high. <\/p>\n \n\tU.S. alternative pop artist Mitski<\/a> enjoys her first U.K. top 10 single with \u201cMy Love Mine All Mine\u201d (Dead Oceans), improving 13-8. Prior to her latest, viral number, Mitski had never even nudged the singles tally, though two of her seven studio albums have impacted the top 10.<\/p>\n \n\tFred Again<\/a> snags a second top 20 solo sentry with \u201cTen\u201d (Atlantic), featuring U.S. artist and songwriter Jozzy<\/a>. It\u2019s new at No. 16, for the highest debut on the latest tally, published Friday, Oct. 20. That\u2019s the fifth top 40 entry for the hot producer and artist, and the first appearance on the chart for Jozzy. <\/p>\n
