\n\tYandel<\/a> has signed with Warner Music Latina, marking his first deal with a major label after releasing his latest albums (Quien Contra Mi 2<\/em> and Resistencia<\/em>) via his own company, Y Entertainment.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe signing took place at the Empire State Building in New York City, where Yandel kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month festivities by leading the lighting ceremony and treating a group of attendees to an intimate concert at the Empire State Building Observatory.<\/p>\n

\n\tYandel\u2019s first release on the label was his Myke Towers<\/a> collaboration \u201cBorracho y Loco,\u201d which came out on Thursday (Sept. 21).<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter scoring countless hits as part of Wisin & Yandel, including \u201cAbusadora\u201d and \u201cRakata,\u201d Yandel launched a full-fledged solo career in 2013. In addition to 2003\u2019s Quien Contra M\u00ed<\/em> \u2014 a solo album released prior to Wisin & Yandel\u2019s 2013 hiatus \u2014 he\u2019s released a total of eight solo albums, including his 2013\u2019s De L\u00edder a Leyenda,<\/em> which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Top Latin Albums<\/a> chart. In February, he scored his first solo Billboard Hot 100<\/a> entry with \u201cYandel 150\u201d in collaboration with Feid<\/a>. <\/p>\n
