Ralf who?<\/h2>\n

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick may not have received the warm welcome he was expecting inside the Red Devils dressing room after he arrived as the temporary replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskj\u00e6r.<\/p>\n

The German tactician arrived from Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow where he was manager of sports and development after an influential managerial career that saw him posted at VfB Stuttgart, Hannover 96, FC Schalke 04, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, and RB Leipzig after smaller postings in a career that began in 1983.<\/p>\n

But according to ESPN senior writer Mark Ogden<\/a>, at least one United player had never heard of Rangnick and resorted to googling the Backnang-native once his appointment was confirmed.<\/p>\n

One (there may have been others too) Man Utd player had to Google Rangnick when he was appointed, to find out who \/ what he was. No big deal, many players don’t spend time studying coaches and trends. But it does point to Rangnick having to convince a squad of his credentials<\/p>\n
