Dani Carvajal.<\/p>\n<p>Carlo Ancelotti\u2019s troops, of course, are currently being put through their pre-season paces, ramping up preparations for the fast-approaching 2022\/23 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Los Blancos will be hopeful of an equally trophy-laden term next time out, after rattling off a domestic and European double in historic fashion this past season.<\/p>\n<p>One such player to have played a central role in such success, of course, came in the form of Dani Carvajal.<\/p>\n<p>Though the Spanish international spent much of the campaign on the sidelines owing to niggling fitness problems, his showing in the Champions League finale, in particular, proved nothing short of a masterclass.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Carvajal pocketing an in-form Luis Diaz in the UCL final isn\u2019t talked about enough.
