\n\t\u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d logs a 16th week at No. 1, earning 22.7 million official U.S. streams, 44.7 million in radio airplay audience and 6,000 sold in the March 6\u201312 tracking week, according to Luminate. \u201cBe Her,\u201d at its No. 2 high, totaled 12 million streams, 4 million in airplay reach and 2,000 sold.<\/p>\n

\n\tLangley first held<\/a> the Hot Country Songs chart\u2019s top two spots a week earlier, becoming just the third woman to hit that mark, after Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/a>. Beyonc\u00e9 did so in April 2024 when \u201cTexas Hold \u2019Em\u201d led and \u201cII Most Wanted,\u201d with Miley Cyrus<\/a>, debuted at No. 2. Swift dominated in October 2012 during the rollout of her album Red<\/em>, when \u201cWe Are Never Ever Getting Back Together\u201d and the title track ranked Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.<\/p>\n

\n\tOverall, few artists have managed to lock down both Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously for multiple weeks, and they\u2019ve done so across very different eras of the chart. Morgan Wallen\u2019s record 25-week streak came last year, in today\u2019s streaming-driven landscape, among an unprecedented 37 total weeks that he\u2019s earned the honor since 2022, far surpassing earlier runs such as Dan + Shay\u2019s eight-week stretch in 2018-19 and Luke Bryan\u2019s six-week streak in 2014.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn earlier eras, the feat was far less common, with just two two-week runs \u2014 by Willie Nelson in 1982 and Buck Owens in 1964. That context makes Langley\u2019s current stretch especially notable \u2014 not only as the longest by a woman, but as a standout in today\u2019s more robust multimetric environment.<\/p>\n
