\n\tMammoth<\/a> has strung together a pair of No. 1s on Billboard<\/em>\u2019s Mainstream Rock Airplay<\/a> chart for a second time, as \u201cThe Spell\u201d takes the top spot on the survey dated Feb. 7.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe Spell,\u201d which rises one rung, follows a one-week rule for \u201cThe End\u201d by the Wolfgang Van Halen-led band last August.<\/p>\n \n\tMammoth kicked off its Mainstream Rock Airplay-charting career with two leaders, \u201cDistance\u201d and \u201cDon\u2019t Back Down,\u201d in 2021.<\/p>\n \n\tIn between \u201cDon\u2019t Back Down\u201d and \u201cThe End,\u201d Mammoth reached Mainstream Rock Airplay with three hits in 2022-24, paced by a No. 5 high for \u201cI\u2019m Alright,\u201d along with \u201cAnother Celebration at the End of the World\u201d (No. 7) and \u201cEpiphany\u201d (No. 9).<\/p>\n \n\tConcurrently, \u201cThe Spell\u201d pushes 10-9 on the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay<\/a> chart with 3.1 million audience impressions in the week ending Jan. 29, according to Luminate. That ties Mammoth\u2019s best rank on the list, previously achieved by \u201cDistance.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe Spell\u201d returned to its No. 17 best on the most recently published, multimetric Hot Hard Rock Songs<\/a> chart (dated Jan. 31, reflecting data accumulated Jan. 16-22). In addition to its radio airplay, the song earned 153,000 official U.S. streams in that span.<\/p>\n \n\tThe End<\/em>, Mammoth\u2019s third studio album, debuted at No. 3 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart in November and has earned 29,000 equivalent album units to date.<\/p>\n \n\tThe group is promoting the set on tour, including shows with Bush<\/a>, Creed<\/a> and Iron Maiden<\/a>, through December, with dates in the U.S. and Canada through May before mixing in gigs in Europe and South America.<\/p>\n \n\tAll Billboard<\/em> charts dated Feb. 7 will update on Billboard.com Tuesday, Feb. 3.<\/p>\n
