\n\tYungblud<\/a>\u2019s recent tour of Australia has produced the sweetest of halo effects, as his album Idols<\/em> (via Capitol\/Universal) belatedly blasts to No. 1.<\/p>\n \n\tOn the latest ARIA Albums Chart<\/a>, published Friday, Jan. 23, Idols<\/em> lifts 12-1, for its first stint at the top of the leaderboard. Idols<\/em> had previously peaked at No. 4, following its released in June 2025. With its big push, Idols<\/em> becomes Yungblud\u2019s second leader in these parts, after his self-titled third album spent one week at No. 1 in 2022.<\/p>\n \n\tYungblud\u2019s six-date trek, the domestic leg of his IDOLS World Tour<\/a><\/em>, wrapped up Tuesday, Jan. 20 at Perth\u2019s ICF: Outdoor, with Dune Rats supporting on all shows.<\/p>\n \n\tThe highest debut on the latest frame belongs to Madison Beer, the American singer-songwriter whose third album Locket<\/em> (LOUD\/Sony) snags a podium entry, just behind Olivia Dean\u2019s The Art of Loving<\/em> (Universal), down 1-2. Beer\u2019s Locket <\/em>is new at No. 3 on the ARIA Chart, and it\u2019s the best seller this week on wax. Previously, Beer made a splash on the chart with 2021\u2019s Life Support<\/em>, which peaked at No. 36.<\/p>\n \n\tAlso new to the top 10 is A$AP Rocky, whose Don\u2019t Be Dumb<\/em> (Republic\/Universal) bows at No. 5. It\u2019s the U.S. wrapper\u2019s fourth appearance in the top tier, after 2013\u2019s Long Live A$AP<\/em> (peaking at No. 7), 2015\u2019s At Long Last A$AP<\/em> (No. 5) and 2018\u2019s Testing<\/em> (No. 5).<\/p>\n \n\tSouth Korean boy band ENHYPEN<\/a> drop in at No. 15 with their EP, The Sin: Vanish<\/a><\/em> (Virgin Music Group\/Universal) for their first appearance on the ARIA Top 50 Albums Chart. Enhypen will get a chance to thank their Australian fans on March 14 when they headline the very first Hello, Melbourne (\uc548\ub155, MELBOURNE)<\/a>, presented at Flemington Racecourse.<\/p>\n \n\tRobbie Williams\u2019 surprise release, Britpop<\/em> (Sony), has a surprise soft entry on the chart. It\u2019s new at No. 22. The former Take That star has collected 16 top 20 appearances on the ARIA Chart, including No. 1s with his Greatest Hits<\/em> (nine weeks in 2004-05), Intensive Care<\/em> (one week in 2005), Rudebox <\/em>(one week in 2006), Reality Killed The Video Star<\/em> (one week in 2009) and The Christmas Present<\/em> (one week in 2019).<\/p>\n \n\tMeanwhile, new releases from U.S. singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine (Older<\/em> at No. 26 via Sony), English post-punk duo Sleaford Mods (The Demise of Planet X <\/em>at No. 36 via RT\/Remote Control), and homegrown punk rockers DZ Deathrays (Easing Out Of Control<\/em> at No. 44 via Orchard) all make an appearance for the first time.<\/p>\n
