Bernardo Silva is reportedly happy to remain at Manchester City this summer and beyond in a major blow to Barcelona\u2019s summer plans, which in turn could cast doubt on Manchester United\u2019s move for Frenkie de Jong.<\/p>\n

Reports suggested that, should De Jong leave, Xavi would look to make a move for Silva as a replacement, with the Barcelona boss thought to be a massive fan of the Portuguese midfielder.<\/p>\n

For his part, it was thought that Silva was also keen on a move to the Camp Nou, but that now doesn\u2019t seem to have been the case.<\/p>\n

According to The Athletic<\/a>, Bernardo Silva\u2019s family all spoke of the player\u2019s happiness at the Etihad.<\/p>\n

\u2018All the feedback they got was incredibly positive, highlighting how the Portuguese was enjoying his game and life in Manchester again\u2019, they report.<\/p>\n

Should Barcelona be keen to strike a deal, it would likely cost in excess of \u00a375m, following his exceptional season in Manchester.<\/p>\n

Manchester City agree Phillips deal<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, the Cityzens have agreed on a deal<\/a> to take Kalvin Phillips from Yorkshire to Manchester this summer, it was revealed on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Leeds United midfielder will join Pep Guardiola\u2019s side in a deal worth up to \u00a350m if all add-ons are reached, with a base fee of \u00a342m guaranteed for the 26 year old.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
