\n\tOn the red carpet of the CMA Awards 2025, we caught up with Brett Young, Cooper Alan and many more to debate when they put up their Christmas decorations and whether there is such a thing as \u201ctoo early.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tRania Aniftos: This is very controversial, so answer carefully: Do you decorate for Christmas before or after Thanksgiving?<\/p>\n
\n\tBrett Young: It\u2019s very controversial.<\/p>\n
\n\tJordan Davis: I would decorate in July if I could.<\/p>\n
\n\tAlexandra Kay: Same!<\/p>\n
\n\tJordan Davis: I love Christmas. Our house is \u2026 My wife is a little more, like, \u201cGive Thanksgiving the respect it deserves.\u201d But if it were up to me, the tree would go up on Nov. 1.<\/p>\n
\n\tBrett Young: I feel like what used to be acceptable, putting up decorations the day after Thanksgiving, has now become acceptable after Halloween.<\/p>\n
\n\tTyler Rich: Yeah, exactly. I decorate for Halloween in August, and I decorate for Christmas right after Halloween.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tBrett Young: I brought the trees down already.\u00a0 We\u2019re probably going to make the girls wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate. So [the trees are] sitting there semi-naked with just lights on them right now.<\/p>\n
\n\tI like the feel of a tree in the house. As long as the ghosts and witches are down, I feel like it\u2019s acceptable to put up a tree.<\/p>\n
\n\tAlexandra Kay: Just don\u2019t mix them.<\/p>\n
\n\tBrett Young: Yeah. No, no, no. That would be a little unique.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tTyler Rich: But I think some lights and holiday vibes before Thanksgiving are fine. Santa comes after Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n
