\n\tOn Monday (Oct. 20), a post<\/a> from Taylor Nation sent fans \u2014 and podcaster Alex Cooper\u2019s Daddy Gang \u2014 into a tizzy. Reposting a Swiftie who\u2019d uploaded a photo of the pop star looking shocked and written on X, \u201cMe when she father figures,\u201d Swift\u2019s official fan account wrote, \u201cOmg did you just call her daddy?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, TN may have just been referencing one of Swift\u2019s past jokes. After she dropped Folklore <\/em>in 2020, Josh Visser posted, \u201cTaylor Swift didn\u2019t need to own the indie dad demo, but she did.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 14-time Grammy winner then replied<\/a> at the time, \u201cOmg did you just call me \u2018daddy.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, some fans think the fan account was teasing that Swift\u2019s next interview will take place on Cooper\u2019s podcast, which often hosts A-list celebrity guests. (Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera, to name a few, have all sat down with her.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTAYLOR ON CALL HER DADDY?!\u201d one Swiftie replied<\/a> to Taylor Nation, while another fan wrote<\/a>, \u201cReference aside, I SMELL A PODCAST.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCall Her Daddy<\/em> has not teased any potential upcoming appearance by the superstar, and has not yet responded to Billboard<\/em>\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\tIf Swift does appear on Call Her Daddy<\/em>, it won\u2019t be her first podcast appearance this year. In August, the singer guested<\/a> on fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce\u2019s New Heights<\/em>, on which she announced her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>. The LP has since made a historic debut<\/a> at No. 1 on the Billboard 200<\/a> with more than 4 million copies sold in its first week, blowing past Adele\u2019s previous record for biggest album opening in the modern era. <\/p>\n

\n\tWith her past podcast experience in mind, it\u2019s not out of the realm of possibility that Swift might keep the trend going by appearing on Call Her Daddy<\/em>. The show\u2019s title is also on theme with one of the standout tracks on Showgirl<\/em> \u2014 \u201cFather Figure,\u201d on which Swift fantasizes about being a Godfather<\/em>-like character.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was your father figure, we drank that brown liquor\/ You made a deal with this devil, turns out my dick\u2019s bigger,\u201d she sings on the track. \u201cYou want a fight?
