\n\t\u201cI\u2019m excited to be joining the team at WME! I\u2019m just getting started and am looking forward to working alongside them in building this next chapter of my career,\u201d the 31-year-old singer-songwriter said in a statement. \u201cThe sky is the limit, and I feel energized to be surrounded by a team that understands and believes in my vision.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe signing comes a month after the Colombian star parted ways<\/a> with longtime manager Walter Kolm<\/strong>, ending a 12-year partnership. At the time, the \u201cHaw\u00e1i\u201d singer told Billboard<\/em> that he was \u201cbuilding a new team\u201d following the amicable split with Kolm.<\/p>\n

\n\tTo date, Maluma, whose melodic reggaet\u00f3n songs led to a breakthrough in the early 2010s, has placed 24 No. 1s\u00a0on Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Latin Airplay chart. On the Hot Latin Songs chart, he has 16 top 10s, including his global hit \u201cHaw\u00e1i,\u201d which spent nine weeks at No. 1 on that tally.<\/p>\n

\n\tMost recently, Maluma released \u201cBronceador\u201d and \u201cCosas Pendientes,\u201d the first singles from his upcoming +Pretty +Dirty era<\/em>\u00a0album. Earlier this month, Maluma concluded three dates at Mexico City\u2019s Palacio de los Deportes, which followed his 12-city European arena tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tOutside of music, Maluma has been the face of global brands like Adidas, Calvin Klein, Versace and BOSS. Last year, he debuted his own athletic-wear<\/a> line, Remanence, designed and made sustainably in Colombia. In 2016, he launched a Medell\u00edn-based foundation, El Arte de Los Sue\u00f1os, focused on transforming the lives of at-risk youth through art and music education.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
