The Nigerian rap legend taps in with Wizkid<\/a> twice on the horn-heavy \u201cKai!\u201d single (featured in last month\u2019s African Fresh Picks<\/a> column) and boastful \u201cBillionaires Club\u201d cut with Darkoo while linking up with American hip-hop heavyweight Dr. Dre on the smooth \u201cIndika\u201d collab with Spinall.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter becoming the first Ghanaian solo female act to perform at Coachella<\/a> this past spring, Amaarae<\/a> continues to put her cultural pride on display with her third studio album Black Star<\/em>, due Aug. 8 via Interscope Records. And she fuses highlife, kpanlogo and more on the LP\u2019s lead single \u201cS.M.O.,\u201d which stands for \u201cSlut Me Out.\u201d Meanwhile, there are new heavyweight cuts from Young Jonn, SPINALL, Crayon, BNXN and more.<\/p>\n
