\n\tWe\u2019ve long known that Zedd<\/a> is a producer famous for technical precision, and now we know that he brings this same level of commitment to his hobby \u2014 making lattes.<\/p>\n \n\tThe artist recently invited Billboard<\/em> to his Los Angeles home to show us his high-level latte-making process, which involves choosing the right bean from dozens of options, expertly weighing, grinding, brewing, frothing and more. He even made a spreadsheet to rank and organize the many bean varieties he\u2019s collected from around the world.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI started loving coffee maybe three years ago,\u201d the artist says, \u201cand the main reason is that I love the coziness and the warmth and the ritual. And the other thing I read that it makes you less hungry, and I\u2019m always hungry \u2026 That\u2019s what started it. And as with many things in my life, if I like something, I need to know everything about it, so that\u2019s how we got to this obnoxious amount of equipment and beans.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tLet the Grammy-winning artist guide you through his process in the video above. <\/p>\n \n\tElsewhere in the interview, Zedd speaks about his massive Coachella 2025 performance, which featured a flurry of special guests and drew a enormous crowd to the Outdoor Stage, and followed a flurry of preparation.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe show was so good because I have an amazing team working on it, and it\u2019s not just me,\u201d he says. \u201cIf there\u2019s one person on the team who has to stay levelheaded and cool throughout the process of chaos, it has to be me, because I\u2019m obviously working on the music and there having to perform it, but I also have to make sure that everybody else does the best they can do. Chaos is part of my job, but freaking out is not.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe also spoke to the 10-year anniversary of his era-defining album True Colors<\/em>, his 2024 follow-up LP Telos<\/em> and a potential collaboration with the ladies of BLACKPINK<\/a>, saying such a project is \u201cvery much\u201d on his radar.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI still would love to collaborate with BLACKPINK,\u201d he says. \u201cI don\u2019t have anything specific right now, but I do have a song that I made that I think would be incredible with BLACKPINK.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
