\n\tSESAC Latina celebrated the global success of its songwriters and publishers at its annual SESAC Latina Music Awards, which took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Wednesday (May 28).<\/p>\n
\n\tTwo years after taking home the award, Latin urban star Lenny Tav\u00e1rez<\/a> was named pop\/Latin rhythm songwriter of the year once more, this time for hits including \u201cPiscina,\u201d \u201cTu Feo,\u201d and \u201cLa Ranger.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tMeanwhile, the pop\/Latin rhythm song of the year award went to \u201cBellakeo,\u201d a reggaet\u00f3n banger written by \u00c1ngel Sandoval and recorded by Peso Pluma and Anitta. Released in December 2023, the track peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard <\/em>Hot Latin Songs chart a week later.<\/p>\n \n\tAlex Hern\u00e1ndez received the regional Mexican songwriter of the year, honored for songs including Xavi\u2019s \u201cLa Diabla,\u201d which also took the regional Mexican song of the year award.
