Antonio Conte has been discussing what Tottenham can learn from their 1-0 loss at the hands of Brighton.<\/p>\n

Spurs faced off with the Seagulls in Saturday\u2019s early Premier League kick-off and headed into the game as clear favourites after dominating the likes of Newcastle and Everton recently.#<\/p>\n

However, when all was said and done, a late Leandro Trossard strike was enough to secure Brighton the win on the day.<\/p>\n

And now, Conte has stated that the less Tottenham can learn from the defeat is that, there are games that if you cannot win, you must now lose:<\/p>\n

\u201cCertainly not a good result for us and a lesson that we can learn today that there are games that if you\u2019re not able to win, you\u2019re not to lose,\u201d he said<\/a>. \u201cIt was very clear that today wasn\u2019t our day, but I understand we wanted to try and get three points because it was very important for us to get three points playing before our rivals in the race for the Champions League.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes, we need to feel. Today the game was very difficult because it was a tactical game for both sides. Brighton were very good to close every space, but we helped our opponent because we moved the ball slowly. We are able to do much better than today.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Tottenham\u2019s loss to Brighton has once again blown the race for the top-four wide open.<\/p>\n
