In the wake of the White House Correspondents\u2019 Association\u2019s March decision to hold its annual dinner without a traditional speech by a comedian, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michelleisawolf.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Wolf <\/a>is set to release a 15-minute clip in which she dishes on her unflinching and controversial 2018 set at the event and even throws in a few more jokes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe clip, titled <em><a href=\"https:\/\/punchup.live\/michellewolf\/dinner-time\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Dinner Time<\/a><\/em>, will premiere at 8 pm Eastern \/ 5 pm Pacific time tonight on Punchup.live, a digital platform for live comedy where Wolf\u2019s weekly podcast <em>Thought Box <\/em>resides.  Although the podcast requires a $5 monthly subscription, <em>Dinner Time<\/em> will be free. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThere might not be a comedian at the Correspondents\u2019 Dinner this year, but the good news is: I have some leftovers!\u201d Wolf says. \u201cI\u2019ve been holding onto this set since 2022, and with everything going on, now felt like the right moment to share it exclusively on Punchup, a platform where comedians can release their own uncensored material without the constraints of any network or streamer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWolf\u2019s routine sparked a media firestorm after she roasted a number of the political powers who were in the room \u2014 including then-White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who is currently the governor of Arkansas, adviser to President Trump Kellyanne Conway and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie \u2013 President Trump (who skipped the event) and such talking heads as Fox News\u2019 Sean Hannity and MSNBC\u2019s Rachel Maddow.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Michelle Wolf COMPLETE REMARKS at 2018 White House Correspondents' Dinner (C-SPAN)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DDbx1uArVOM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tZeroing in on Conway, Wolf, addressing the media, said, \u201cYou guys gotta stop putting Kellyanne on your shows. All she does is lie.\u201d She then added, \u201cIt\u2019s like that old saying: If a tree falls in the woods, how do we get Kellyanne under that tree? I\u2019m not suggesting she get hurt, just stuck.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tShe also pulled no punches with Sanders, who sat just two seats away from the podium where Wolf delivered her jokes. \u201cI think she\u2019s very resourceful,\u201d the comic said of the press secretary before referencing her make-up style. \u201d Like, she burns facts, and then she uses the ash to create a perfect smoky eye.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe barbs stuck with Sanders, who recounted the incident in her 2020 memoir, <em>Speaking for Myself: Faith, Freedom, and the Fight of Our Lives Inside the Trump White House<\/em>. \u201cI debated walking out or perhaps even throwing my wineglass at her,\u201d she wrote. \u201cBut ultimately I stayed in my seat and held my head high.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tClips of the media furor that resulted can be seen in the trailer for <em>Dinner Time<\/em>, and in the actual clip, Wolf remains unrepentant \u2014 a point of pride for ride-or-die stand-up comics. She explains to the receptive crowd that she is a non-partisan comic. \u201cI hate Republicans. I hate Democrats. I hate the media.
