\n\tThe pop star\u2019s Eternal Sunshine<\/a><\/em> rebounds from No. 79 to No. 1 following the release of a new deluxe version titled Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead<\/em>. The 78-spot leap marks the biggest jump to No. 1 from within the top 100 since September 2020, when Music From The Home Front<\/em> soared from No. 83 to the top.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrande\u2019s original version of Eternal Sunshine<\/em> spent three weeks at No. 1<\/a> in March and April 2024, and this latest return secures her fifth career chart-topper in Australia. She previously hit No. 1 with My Everything<\/em> (2014), Dangerous Woman<\/em> (2016), Sweetener<\/em> (2018), and Thank U, Next<\/em> (2019).<\/p>\n

\n\tSydney-based singer-songwriter Grentperez celebrates a major career milestone this week, as his debut album Backflips in a Restaurant<\/em> enters the chart at No. 3. While Grentperez has released four EPs since 2021 and notched three top 40 hits in New Zealand, this marks his first Top 10 debut in his home country.<\/p>\n

\n\tMumford & Sons return with Rushmere<\/em>, their first new album in nearly seven years and their first without founding member Winston Marshall. The British folk-rock outfit enters at No. 7, adding to a solid run on the ARIA Albums Chart that includes previous peaks with Sigh No More<\/em> (No. 1 in 2009), Babel<\/em> (No. 2 in 2012), Wilder Mind<\/em> (No. 1 in 2015), and Delta<\/em> (No. 5 in 2018).<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere, The Darkness land at No. 45 with their eighth studio album, Dreams on Toast<\/em>. The glam rockers previously charted three albums in the ARIA Top 20, including Permission to Land<\/em> (No. 17 in 2003), Hot Cakes<\/em> (No. 15 in 2012), and Pinewood Smile<\/em> (No. 17 in 2017).<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the ARIA Singles Chart, Alex Warren holds steady at No. 1 for a second week with \u201cOrdinary,\u201d while Chappell Roan climbs to a new high at No. 4 with \u201cPink Pony Club\u201d \u2014 matching the peak of her breakthrough hit \u201cGood Luck, Babe!\u201d from last year.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrande\u2019s rebound ties into a historical trend: while the 52-week gap between stints at No. 1 is notable, it falls short of the record held by Meatloaf\u2019s Bat Out of Hell<\/em>, which returned to No. 1 in January 2022 \u2014 more than 2,200 weeks after first topping the chart in 1978.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
