\n\tYungblud<\/a> has officially made his grand return.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 27-year-old British rocker introduced his fourth studio album era with an epic nine-minute long single, \u201cHello Heaven, Hello\u201d as well as the accompanying cinematic music video on Tuesday (March 18).<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the Charlie Sarsfield-directed music video, Yungblud proclaims the lyrics from various scenic landscapes, from a snowy mountain field alongside a gorgeous black horse to the edge of a cliff. He then grows wings and ascends into the air, before the second half of the video takes place inside a black-and-white TV set, where the singer performs the rest of the track with his band. He concludes the visual while holding onto a cross, with mountains and lake behind him at sunset.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHello Heaven, Hello is the opening statement to my new album. It\u2019s a journey of self-reclamation, a goodbye to the past and how you may have known or perceived me before and a hello to the future and where I\u2019m going,\u201d Yungblud said of the track in a press statement. \u201cIt sets the precedent for what this album is. It\u2019s an adventure that\u2019s sonically more ambitious than ever before, a journey that is meant to be played in its entirety, that doesn\u2019t for a moment hold back or let its imagination be filtered. I wanted its first moment to be a statement.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued of the song\u2019s length, \u201cI\u2019ve been discouraged from releasing a nine-minute-and-six-second song as my first move back in a year because in a modern world it\u2019s seen to be a \u2018risk\u2019 \u2014 I don\u2019t see it like that at all. I see it as an opportunity. In my opinion, risk is an artist\u2019s greatest tool, putting everything on the line in pursuit of the best evolution and art you can make \u2014 without risk, there is no innovation.\u00a0I feel like for the first time in a long time I\u2019m exactly where I need to be and doing exactly what I\u2019m supposed to be doing \u2014 making exactly what I want \u2014 exploring the past, the present, the future and most importantly, myself.\u00a0This album feels magical to me and this is where it starts. Where the f\u2014 are we gonna end up? Let\u2019s see. Get on the horse. Let\u2019s ride.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tYungblud\u2019s last album was his self-titled 2022 project, though he\u2019s released a string of singles since. His music festival, Bludfest, will also be returning to\u00a0Milton Keynes\u2019 National Bowl on\u00a0June 21,\u00a02025.<\/p>\n
