\n\tMuch has been made of the Drake <\/a>and Kendrick Lamar <\/a>feud<\/a> of 2024, and Xzibit<\/a> has chimed in with some thoughts on the historic battle<\/a>, as well as what\u2019s fair when embroiled in a rap beef.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe West Coast rapper joined Bill Maher\u2019s Club Random Podcast<\/em> earlier this week, and X made it clear he\u2019s backing Lamar in the feud.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhat you\u2019re seeing and why people are celebrating it so much is that this big, huge machine and this so-called rapper from Compton,\u201d he said. \u201cYes, he has success, but he\u2019s not as big as his [Drake].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMaher was focused on getting Xzibit\u2019s thoughts on Lamar calling Drake a \u201cpedophile\u201d on his Grammy-winning anthem \u201cNot Like Us\u201d and performing the track during his Super Bowl Halftime Show.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is a rap battle,\u201d X pleaded. \u201cThis is not a testimony or deposition. This is a f\u2014ing rap battle. I\u2019m going to talk about your mama, your daddy, your children, your grandma\u2019s wooden leg, your missing teeth. It\u2019s all a game.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, Xzibit appears to say that if the pedophile allegations made in \u201cNot Like Us\u201d were true, there would be cases and lawsuits against Drake tied up in the court system.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut I never saw anything that proved he was a pedophile. There\u2019s been no court, there\u2019s been nobody brought any cases against him,\u201d X added. \u201cIf there was something weird going on, then there would definitely be people that would come forward and testify, and then people would be charged for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMaher didn\u2019t understand where the allegations against Drake stemmed from, and Xzibit pointed to the \u201cHotline Bling\u201d artist\u2019s friendship with actress <\/a>Millie Bobby Brown. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut when you\u2019re playing the dozens, and I give you one that hurts your feelings, don\u2019t be the guy who wants to fight because I got a good joke,\u201d Xzibit said, defending Lamar.<\/p>\n

\n\tBut it seems the Pimp My Ride <\/em>alum isn\u2019t supporting Drake\u2019s defamation lawsuit<\/a> against Universal Music Group over \u201cNot Like Us.\u201d (The label has denied the allegations<\/a> made by Drake, slammed the suit as \u201cillogical\u201d and \u201cfrivolous.\u201d)<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut he\u2019s basically saying that you did something for someone else that you used to do for me, and here\u2019s how I know,\u201d X stated. \u201cAnd I\u2019m blowing a whistle now \u2014 but that\u2019s not true. Like, the world loves that song.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake reached a settlement <\/a>with iHeartMedia over an airplay dispute surrounding \u201cNot Like Us\u201d earlier this week. Drizzy had alleged that\u00a0iHeartMedia received illegal payments from Universal Music Group to boost the Billboard Hot 100 <\/a>No. 1 hit\u2019s airplay.<\/p>\n
