\n\tThe Almost Famous<\/em> star is set to join Season 27\u00a0of\u00a0The Voice<\/em>\u00a0as a battle advisor for the Maroon 5 frontman, and the duo sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/em>, where Hudson revealed, \u201cI\u2019ve known Adam since high school!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHudson attended Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California, while Levine went to Brentwood School nearby in West Los Angeles. <\/p>\n

\n\tWhile she seemed playfully unsure when asked if she knew Levine would grow up to be a \u201crockstar,\u201d Hudson ultimately responded, \u201cYeah! You know, he loved it. His first band, they were always playing somewhere. It\u2019s amazing to see his success and then to be here doing this with him, it feels very familiar, yet surreal at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Levine wasn\u2019t shocked at Hudson\u2019s natural transition from acting into a music career. \u201cShe\u2019s so annoying. She can, like, do everything,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tHudson released her debut album Glorious<\/em> last year, and the project reached No. 3 on the Heatseekers albums chart, No. 10 on Top Album Sales, No. 10 on Top Current Album Sales, No. 19 on Vinyl Albums and No. 41 on the Independent Albums chart.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow that she\u2019s a successful musician in addition to a successful actress, Hudson said that she\u2019s ready to take on the coaches panel on The Voice<\/em>. \u201cIt would be so much fun,\u201d she shared. \u201cI love the competitive nature of it. I was thinking about that with Adam. How fun to compete against other great artists and see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
