\n\tWhile visiting The Late Show <\/em>Thursday night (Feb. 20), the anti-bullying activist opened up about starting her new Reclaiming <\/em>podcast, which debuted two days prior. Already, Lewinsky has had actress Olivia Munn and actor Alan Cumming as guests on the show.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe act of reclaiming is really about getting something back that has been lost or taken from you,\u201d Lewinsky told Stephen Colbert of the meaning of her show\u2019s title, after which the host asked who her \u201cwhite whale\u201d guest would be. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think if I aim really high, I would say Taylor Swift,\u201d the producer replied. <\/p>\n

\n\tConceding that the 14-time Grammy winner would likely be a hard get, Lewinsky went on to explain that Swift\u2019s ongoing Taylor\u2019s Version <\/em>re-recording project<\/a> \u2014 through which she\u2019s been taking back ownership of her first six albums following her public struggle over her masters with former label Big Machine \u2014 is what makes the star perfect for the podcast. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf you think about Taylor\u2019s<\/em> Version<\/em>s, it\u2019s really a reclamation,\u201d Lewinsky told Colbert. \u201cTo lose your music catalog and figure out a way to get that back as your voice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFor Lewinsky, reclamation has meant taking back her narrative after enduring years of harassment following her scandal with then-president Bill Clinton in 1998, back when she worked as a White House intern. Through public appearances \u2014 including a viral 2015 TED Talk \u2014 she\u2019s spoken out about the effects of public shaming. It\u2019s another thing she and Swift have in common, with the Eras Tour headliner having opened up multiple times about how slut-shaming<\/a> has impacted her over the course of her career.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for Swift\u2019s re-recording project, the \u201cKarma\u201d singer has just two albums left to re-release. After dropping Fearless (Taylor\u2019s Version) <\/em>and Red (Taylor\u2019s Version) <\/em>in 2021 followed by Speak Now (Taylor\u2019s Version) <\/em>and 1989 (Taylor\u2019s Version) <\/em>in 2023, Swift now only has 2017\u2019s Reputation <\/em>and her 2006 self-titled debut album to do over.<\/p>\n
