\n\tSam Fender<\/a> has extended his 2025 U.K. summer tour with the addition of three new dates.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement arrives ahead of the North Shields songwriter\u2019s third LP People Watching<\/em>, due next Friday (Feb. 21) via Polydor. The record marks Fender\u2019s first full-length release since 2021\u2019s Mercury Prize-nominated Seventeen Going Under<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first of the new shows will be held in Manchester\u2019s Wythenshawe Park on Aug. 16, before he takes to the Royal Highland Showgrounds in Edinburgh the following week (Aug. 22) as part of the Scottish capital\u2019s Summer Sessions series. On Aug. 28, meanwhile, Fender will headline the VITAL Festival at Boucher Road Playing Fields, Belfast.<\/p>\n

\n\tSupport comes from Olivia Dean in Manchester and Edinburgh, with CMAT in Belfast. Further opening acts are yet to be announced.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tTickets for all shows go on live at 10 a.m. (GMT) on Feb. 21 via Fender\u2019s official website<\/a>. There will be a special presale on Feb. 18 for those signed up to his fan newsletter, running for 24 hours ahead of the general sale later in the week.<\/p>\n

\n\tThese shows will follow Fender\u2019s previously announced European and US tours through the spring, plus three sold-out stadium gigs at Newcastle\u2019s St. James Park (June 12-15) and London Stadium (June 6). He will also appear at Radio 1\u2019s Big Weekend festival in Sefton Park, Liverpool, on May 24 \u2013 bringing his U.K. summer line-up to eight dates.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u00a31 from every ticket sold on the stadium run will be donated to select cultural organisations such as Youth Music and Sunday for Sammy to support the arts in the North East of England.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast month, Fender was nominated for artist of the year and best alternative\/rock act at The BRIT Awards 2025, which will take place on Mar. 1 at London\u2019s O2 Arena.<\/p>\n
