\n\tGloria Estefan had the honor to introduce the \u201cglobal superstar \u2026 the one and only, the incomparable, Shakira,\u201d prior to a short tribute video in which the Colombian artist opened up about her separation and putting herself together thanks to music.<\/p>\n

\n\tRocking a golden two-piece and matching gloves, Shak first took fans down memory lane with the sensual 1998 hit \u201cOjos As\u00ed\u201d powered by a mesmerizing belly-dance number, before transitioning to an empowering and energetic performance of the viral \u201cShakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the 67th annual awards ceremony, Shak \u2014 now a four-time Grammy winner \u2014 won best Latin pop album for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran<\/em>, a category in which she was up against Anitta\u2019s Funk Generation<\/em>, Luis Fonsi\u2019s El Viaje<\/em>, Kany Garc\u00eda\u2019s Garc\u00eda<\/em> and Kali Uchis\u2019 Orqu\u00eddeas<\/em>. She dedicated her win<\/a> to her \u201cimmigrant brothers and sisters in this country,\u201d reminding them that they are \u201cloved and worthy,\u201d and also to her sons Milan and Sasha, who were present at the show.<\/p>\n

\n\tShak\u2019s winning set (her 12th studio album over a four-decade career), debuted at No. 1 on Billboard\u2019s<\/em> Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums chart last April.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, other Latin artists who nabbed an award earlier at the Grammy Premiere Ceremony are Residente for best m\u00fasica urbana album; Rawayana for best Latin rock or alternative album; Car\u00edn Le\u00f3n for best m\u00fasica Mexicana album (Including Tejano); Tony and Mimy Succar for best tropical Latin album; Sheila E. featuring Gloria Estefan and Mimy Succar for best global music performance; and Zaccai Curtis for best Latin jazz album. <\/strong><\/p>\n
