\n\tSpotify general counsel Eve Konstan<\/strong> is exiting her role at the streaming giant \u201cto step away from full-time corporate life,\u201d she announced via LinkedIn on Monday (Jan. 27).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis marks the end of a chapter that\u2019s been filled with unforgettable experiences and immense personal growth,\u201d Konstan wrote<\/a>, \u201cand while it\u2019s bittersweet to step away from a role and company that I love, I am confident this is the right time to make this transition.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKonstan\u2019s final day at Spotify is Friday (Jan. 31).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhether this marks the end of my full-time for-profit endeavors remains to be seen, but I am excited to embrace the opportunities this next phase offers,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to dedicating more time to the non-profit and educational causes that inspire me, ramping up my fitness routine, exploring new books and ideas, and, most importantly, spending more quality time with family and friends. I also remain open to opportunities where my experience and insights can add value\u2014whether through Board service or other meaningful engagements.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKonstan joined Spotify in May 2020 from WarnerMedia Entertainment, where she served as executive vp\/general counsel. Prior to that, she was general counsel at HBO for 20 years. The Columbia Law School graduate began her career at the firm Clearly Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpotify founder\/CEO Daniel Ek<\/strong> responded to Konstan\u2019s post in the comments section, writing, \u201cThank you for everything you\u2019ve done for Spotify and for me personally over these past five years.
