\n\tIn the earlier days of his career, touring wasn\u2019t necessarily Kygo<\/a>\u2018s favorite thing to do.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was like every show was life or death,\u201d says the Norwegian producer. \u201cI was always very nervous. It was like, \u2018This is the most important [thing ever], and if I mess up tonight, my career is over.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith this extreme self-imposed pressure, the artist \u201cwasn\u2019t really able to enjoy the shows that much. At one point I was like, \u2018I\u2019m probably never going to tour again,\u2019 because it was just so exhausting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFlash forward to the present moment and Kygo \u2014 whose real name is Kyrre G\u00f8rvell-Dahll \u2014 has a fresh approach and attendant attitude, calling his current world tour \u201cdefinitely my favorite that I\u2019ve done so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStarting last September, the 35-date tour has hit arenas and amphitheaters in North America, Europe and Central America, averaging slightly over 10,000 tickets and $838,000 in revenue per show, according to numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore. The run is continuing into 2025, with shows in Asia and Australia. Additionally, the producer plays this Thursday (Jan. 23) in Toronto and Saturday (Jan. 25) in Mexico City, where Kygo will play what he calls \u201cthe biggest show of the tour by far.\u201d See exclusive behind the scenes footage of this tour below.<\/p>\n
