\n\tInhaler <\/a>have shared a new single titled \u201cA Question Of You,\u201d ahead of their forthcoming album, Open Wide <\/em>(due Feb. 7 via Polydor).<\/p>\n \n\tFollowing recent tracks \u201cYour House\u201d and \u201cOpen Wide,\u201d it marks the third preview to be lifted from the Irish band\u2019s third record. The 13-track collection was recorded in London\u2019s iconic RAK Studios with producer Kid Harpoon<\/a>, who scooped a bevy of Grammy and BRIT awards in 2023 for his work on Harry Styles<\/a>\u2018 blockbuster 2022 LP Harry\u2019s House<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThis is love song territory for me,\u201d said frontman Elijah Hewson, describing \u201cA Question Of You\u201d in a press release. \u201cIt\u2019s about how in order to be honest with someone else you\u2019ve got to be honest with yourself, like, \u2018I\u2019ve gotta sort my own s\u2013t out so I can be around other people\u2019. The choir really changed everything on this [song].\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe release of Open Wide<\/em> will coincide with Inhaler\u2019s biggest headline tour to date. Through next month, the four-piece will perform at sold-out venues across the U.K, including two nights at the capital\u2019s Brixton Academy. In May, they\u2019ll perform a huge, 20,000-capacity hometown show at Dublin\u2019s St. Anne\u2019s Park alongside Stockport indie group Blossoms.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tInhaler\u2019s debut album It Won\u2019t Always Be Like This<\/em> soared to the summit of the Official U.K. Albums Chart<\/a> in July 2021. They ended their release week with 18,000 chart sales, according to the Official Charts Company,<\/a> with 92% of that sum generated by physical sales. The achievement also made Inhaler the first Irish act to top the chart with their debut in 13 years.<\/p>\n \n\tIts follow-up, Cuts & Bruises<\/em>, which arrived two years later, landed at No. 2. Speaking to Billboard<\/em> upon release,<\/a> drummer Ryan MacMahon described Inhaler\u2019s sophomore effort as \u201can album of love songs, about loving your friends,\u201d adding that its songs were made to sound \u201ca lot more loose and like a live band \u2013 which is what we wanted to achieve with the record.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn recent years, the band have gone on to open for Arctic Monkeys, as well as tour the U.K. and European festival circuit extensively with shows at Reading & Leeds and Glasgow\u2019s TRNSMT.
