\n\tEminem<\/a> and MGK<\/a> (formerly Machine Gun Kelly) have one of modern music\u2019s longest standing feuds, but if one person can bring them together, it\u2019s probably Jelly Roll<\/a>. And on a recent episode of the Flagrant <\/em>podcast, the \u201cSon of a Sinner\u201d singer said that he\u2019s up to the task.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile discussing how he\u2019s worked with both the Detroit rapper and the \u201cMy Ex\u2019s Best Friend\u201d musician in the past, Jelly revealed that he hopes to someday \u201cbring them together,\u201d as he sees \u201cso much more of them in each other than they know.\u201d \u201cThey\u2019re gonna get together one day, eventually,\u201d he added confidently.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI haven\u2019t really brought it up to Marshall yet, \u2019cause I\u2019m just still kind of glad that I\u2019m still in that circumference to be able to have those conversations,\u201d the country star continued. \u201cI also gave [MGK] some perspective too: We all grew up watching Eminem take over the game early. If you got mentioned in an Eminem song, it was like being mentioned in a comedy special. You\u2019re on f\u2013king fire. You couldn\u2019t be hotter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEm and MGK first started butting heads<\/a> in 2012, when the latter \u2014 who was 22 at the time \u2014 referred to the former\u2019s then-16-year-old daughter Hallie as \u201chot as f\u2013k\u201d on Twitter, which is now called X. In the years since, the two rappers have dissed each other in their music, and Slim Shady most recently name-dropped his opponent on 2020\u2019s \u201cUnaccommodating.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut when they ask me is the war finished with MGK? Of course it is,\u201d Em riffed on the track. \u201cI cleansed him of his mortal sins\/ I\u2019m God and the Lord forgives\/ Even the devil worshippers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEven so, Jelly said that a truce between his two friends is \u201cinevitable.\u201d \u201cI think that they\u2019re gonna find each other\u2019s heart more than they don\u2019t,\u201d he said on the podcast. \u201cIf they never do connect that way, [the feud] did more for both of them than it did to hurt either one of them.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tWhen asked how he balances his relationships with Em and MGK, Jelly noted that he simply stays transparent with both stars and their teams. The \u201cNeed a Favor\u201d musician has worked with the \u201cEmo Girl\u201d artist on the tracks \u201cLonely Road\u201d and \u201cTime of Day,\u201d as well as appeared on \u201cSomebody Save Me\u201d from Eminem\u2019s Billboard 200<\/a>-topping album The Death of Slim Shady<\/em>. According to Jelly, neither of his friends has ever had an issue with him working with both of them, despite the two hip-hop stars\u2019 famous beef.\u00a0<\/p>\n
