\n\tSnoop Dogg<\/a> and the label that pays him have signed new deals with Reservoir Media, covering the legendary rapper and entrepreneur\u2019s domestic publishing for his entire catalog and future works, as well as the publishing catalog of Death Row Records, which Snoop scooped up in 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\tBorn Calvin Broadus Jr.<\/strong> in the LBC, Snoop glided into fame in 1992 after featuring on Dr. Dre<\/a>\u2019s debut single, \u201cDeep Cover,\u201d before making several star-affirming turns on Dre\u2019s game-changing album The Chronic<\/em> (\u201cNuthin\u2019 but a \u2018G\u2019 Thang,\u201d \u201cLet Me Ride\u201d). A year later, he released his own multi-platinum album, Doggystyle<\/em>, via Death Row, featuring West Coast hip-hop classics like \u201cGin and Juice\u201d and \u201cWhat\u2019s My Name?\u201d He has released 19 solo albums, with his 20th,\u00a0Missionary<\/em>, currently in production with Dre. His lengthy list of hits over the years includes \u201cDrop It Like It\u2019s Hot\u201d and \u201cBeautiful\u201d plus collabs like \u201cThe Next Episode\u201d with Dre, \u201cCalifornia Gurls\u201d with Katy Perry and \u201cYoung, Wild & Free\u201d with Wiz Khalifa, to name a few.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to 16 Grammy nominations and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Snoop has built a broad business portfolio, acted in dozens of films, including Soul Plane<\/em> and this year\u2019s The Garfield Movie<\/em>, and is a prolific signer of product endorsement deals. Recently, his commentary and enthusiasm charmed NBC viewers at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and last night (Sept. 23) he made his debut as a coach on NBC\u2019s\u00a0The Voice<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter acquiring Death Row Records, the label that released his debut album along with early works by Dr. Dre and 2Pac, Snoop established a publishing arm for the label. The Reservoir deal includes hits like \u201cHail Mary\u201d and \u201cI Ain\u2019t Mad At Cha\u201d by 2Pac, ensuring that Death Row\u2019s legacy continues under Snoop\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n

\n\tFinancial details of the arrangement were not disclosed.<\/p>\n
